Operations Assistant
Salary: FTE £27,183 per annum, actual £16,309
Hours of work: 22.5 hours per week, days to be agreed.
An Operations Assistant is sought to help ensure the effective and efficient day to day running of the church and venue hire business, enabling the operational, events and clergy teams by providing comprehensive administrative and financial support alongside premises management to ensure long term sustainability for the church and events business.
Events Manager
Salary: FTE £33,000 per annum, actual £19,800
Hours of work: 22.5 hours per week to be worked flexibly to meet the needs of the role.
We are seeking a motivated and driven individual to lead our events strategy, building a thriving programme that generates sustainable income to support the church’s mission, serves the local community, and strengthens partnerships across the city. This key role will be central to helping Fountains Church meet ambitious growth and income targets while establishing us as a valuable and dynamic presence in Bradford.
Events Coordinator
Salary: Guaranteed 20 hours per week at £13,100 per annum (3 hours of this will be as part of the MA learning community every Monday morning during term time – see below), plus additional hours as required to cover events at £13.36 per hour.
Hours of work: Monday 9.30am -12.30am with additional hours as required to cover events up to maximum of 40 hours per week, NB – this role WILL require evening and weekend work.
As the Events Coordinator, you will play a key role in coordinating and executing external event hires that leave a lasting impression on our customers - from conferences and workshops to live music nights. The role ensures that all bookings and hires are handled professionally and efficiently, maintaining excellent relationships with clients while upholding the church’s mission, values, and practical requirements.
Working with the events manager and a team of hospitality assistants this is a fantastic opportunity to further develop your experience and skills in event hospitality whilst supporting the work of Fountains Church.
